About being a Carpenter Apprentice:

This apprenticeship may cover the following over 4 years and is not limited to:

• Carry out setting out, construct wall frames, ceiling frames, pitched roofs, eaves, external stairs, flooring systems, instal windows and doors.
• Use carpentry tools and equipment
• Carry out general demolition of minor building structures
• Carry out measurements and calculations
• Read and interpret plans and specifications
• Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry

Essential Criteria:

To be considered for this position you will possess the following:

1. Reliable transport
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with computer literacy
3. Willingness to learn and a genuine interest in completing an apprenticeship in the industry
4. A can do attitude, teamed with the ability to work in a team environment
5. Excellent attention to detail
6. Drivers Licence a must. P’s are ok.
