We are recruiting for a locally owned and operated company that has been servicing Cairns for over 20 years. They have an excellent reputation for providing a huge range of high quality board, laminate, acrylic and stone products across Far North Queensland. They specialise in hardware, bench tops, wardrobes and flat pack cabinets. As a stonemason apprentice you will work alongside a qualified tradesmen and learn all aspects of the trade. Electrical Apprenticeship (junior) About the role: Skill360 is currently seeking a candidate who can demonstrate excellent maths and science skills and apply these to becoming an apprentice electrician. The ideal candidate will have already completed Certificate II Electrotechnology, and have completed at least 1 week work experience in the electrical or construction industry.  This position is Hosted at one of Townsville's largest contractors who work on new projects and complete maintenance work specialising in hazardous areas. The Host gives the apprentice an opportunity to learn industrial, commercial and residential electrical work. In your 1st year of being an apprentice, you will attend about 10 weeks of block training at TAFE Townsville, so it is important that you are eager to keep learning!.
