We have a number of Host Employers who have full time and part time opportunities for a traineeship in Cairns metro and regional areas. This is a 12 month full time nationally recognised Certificate III qualification that will provide you with a stepping stone into further study and employment. This Traineeship allows you to earn while you learn. Want to get a qualified trade in flooring? Join our team of talented flooring professionals in Cairns for a kick start in your flooring career! Our Host Employer is an established family-based business and has an opportunity for either an out of trade apprentice or you would like to become a fully qualified timber/parquetry floor installer. You will be trained and supervised by experienced tradespeople to acquire the skills to qualify for Certificate III in Flooring Technology. To apply for this Apprenticeship, the following criteria should be considered: You are a current floor finishing apprentice or have experience in the trade or industry  You will be required to perform strenuous and physical tasks requiring lifting and transporting tools and flooring materials to and from multiple sites Observe Work Place Health and Safety and Environmental requirements Receptive in taking direction from your supervisors Be reliable and have own transport Have a passion and willingness to develop your knowledge and skills in the flooring trade.
